Measurement help
Open the help icon next to any measurement site for landmarks and technique. Use the right side and mark the same location for every round.
Restore Pro
Open Settings, then Billing, and choose Restore purchases while signed into the app-store account that made the purchase.
Report a problem
Email the app version, device model, operating-system version, and the steps that led to the issue. Do not send sensitive body measurements unless needed.
Privacy question
Read the Privacy Policy or email us about analytics, research sharing, purchases, or deletion.
Delete your data
- Open Settings.
- Select Manage stored data.
- Delete an individual measurement, all measurements for a profile, or all stored data.
Deletion is available on Free and Pro. If you opted into research, deleting a contributed personal measurement queues deletion of its cloud research copy. Deleting all stored data stops research sharing and queues deletion of all contributions. Keep the app installed and connected until Privacy & data sharing confirms there are no pending changes.
If you uninstalled before a research deletion completed, email support@theliftleague.com. Include the pseudonymous research ID you saved from the app, if available. Do not email client names or measurement values.
Common questions
Why can my estimate change between sessions?
Small changes in site location, fold direction, muscle tension, hydration, recent exercise, and caliper placement can affect a reading. Measure under similar conditions and focus on longer-term trends.
Is Caliper Cal a medical tool?
No. It provides general fitness estimates and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Does deleting the app delete purchase records?
No. The app store and RevenueCat may retain transaction information needed to restore purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Where is my history backed up?
Caliper Cal does not provide cloud backup for measurement history. Android backup and device transfer are disabled, and the iOS database is intended to be excluded from backup. Export is not currently available.
